Privacy Policy for Brainlag
Effective Date: April 17, 2026
At Skogalabs, we take your privacy seriously. This document describes how Brainlag handles data and our commitment to your security.
1. Audio Data & Microphone Access
Brainlag requires access to your device's microphone to create its signature delayed feedback effect. We want to be absolutely clear about how this is handled:
- Local Processing: All audio captured is processed in real-time within your device's volatile memory (RAM).
- No Recording: We do not record or save any audio files to your device's storage.
- No Transmission: Your audio never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to Skogalabs servers or any third parties.
2. Personal Information
The Brainlag application does not require an account, email address, or any other personal identification to function. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or contact lists.
3. Anonymous Analytics
To improve Brainlag, we may receive anonymous, aggregated usage metrics through Apple's standard App Store Analytics. This data is not linked to your identity and includes information like app crashes or general frequency of use.
4. Third-Party Services
Brainlag is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect information as part of its own privacy policy when you download or purchase apps.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
